Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:19-20)

Today marks the end of our 40 Days of Prayer, but it should only be the beginning of us becoming a people of prayer. The themes we have prayed about over the past 6 weeks are ones about which we should continue to pray.

Pray today that we would be faithful in fulfilling the Great Commission. Pray that we would make disciples—that we would share the gospel, baptize believers, and teach Scripture. Pray that we would be willing to get our hands dirty by getting involved in people’s lives, not just shouting the gospel from a distance, but making disciples, which requires proximity. Pray that Jesus’ presence with us would make us bold in doing so.
